Many of us have been sick the last couple of weeks. I haven't been posting and I am sorry for that. For the last few days we have not had homework. We are working on Coin and Stamp problems in class and for those of you who are absent, we will go over these kinds of problems again when you return to school.
If you want to take a look at it before we all return after parent-teacher conferences, it is located in section 4.2 We are working on various problems from 2 in a box on pages 159-161

After the test
You all worked hard on your tests this week. It was long, I know. I didn't mean for it to be, but you guys were determined and meticulous and I am excited to look over your results. I am sure that I will be pleased. Thanks for being such diligent worker bees.
When you were finished with your tests I told you to begin working on the Cumulative Review and the first section of chapter 4.
You do NOT have to work on this over the weekend!
However, on Monday you will have Jan as your sub and I expect for you to pick this back up then. If you do not finish it in class on Monday then it will become your HW for Monday night.
Hope that you all have great advisee outings.

1st section of Chapter 4: pg. 151-153 (1-29 odd)

Test on Wednesday
We will not have class on Tuesday and when you return we will be having a test on Chapter 3! To prepare for the test please do the Chapter Review on pages 140-141. I will answer questions about it before we begin the test.

no Quiz. . .now we have a test on Wednesday
Today we learned the last skill that you will need to have for your Algebra Test that will be next week. The test is on Chapter 3.

Inequalities and Quiz...no Test
Tonight you have a bit of practice with Inequalities that we started in class today.
HW for tonight: p. 132 #1-27 (odd)
I announced a quiz today. The quiz will be on Monday. I have decided just to go ahead and make it a test since we are so close to finishing Chapter 3. I'll talk to you all about it tomorrow.
